Here at the Rettie household we believe in re-purposing. Mike turned a hockey stick into a holder for a thistle seed finch feeder. And the finches have found it, much to Gris-gris's disapproval. Or perhaps entertainment. I also sacrificed a pole from my long unused hand quilting frame to become the handle of a boat hook. Now if only we could turn some more things from the basement into useful items.
