the tupelo solstice tree

Tupelo, genus Nyssa, is a small genus of deciduous trees with alternate, simple leaves. The genus name refers to a Greek water nymph, or Naiaid, a type of female spirit or nymph presiding over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of fresh water.

So I've added some decorations and lights, making it serve as the holiday tree. Who says I haven't got any holiday spirit? Happy Solstice! Enjoy the longer days.
