spring

 

March came in and left, lions and lambs, full garden display, and another year of marriage completed. And the bright green landscape brought on by an adequate amount of rain was dazzling as we drove the road from San Juan Baptista to Salinas.


March seemed to hold much time for musings, but getting them set down just didn't happen. Perhaps April will be better for posting. One of my many musings was on the quote below:
"Out west... there is more sky than any place in the world. It does not sit flatly on the rim but begins somewhere out in the space in which the earth is poised, hollows more, and is full of clean winey winds.

Four weeks from today we will be heading out to Mary Austin's landscape. And the promise of fishing trips makes the day to day much more tolerable.
