describe yourself with one picture

This would be my picture. The refrigerator. Well not only the frig, but the adornment. Or the capability for adornment. Those stainless steel sub zeros don't hold magnets. The Rettie refrigerator came to us used from Mike's mother. It's been humming along for years, serves a necessary function, reflects the Scot in both of us. It was free, and it works. There are photos of small children who are now getting doctorate degrees. There are magnets that were gifts from family and friends: a paella, a hand painted fish, surfing in Hawaii. Being held up are cartoons, photos of late cats, postcards, our sewer cleanout man, and my prized ticket stub from a 1997 Giant's game (Rod Beck pitched himself out of bases loaded with no outs in the 10th inning). Occasionally I re-arrange and discard some of most battered objects. But the ticket stub will stay.
